Course Overview
Our General English course provides the necessary language, motivation, and opportunity for students to talk with confidence. Learners build confidence to communicate with a proven balance of Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation and Skills development in each lesson
Leaning Objectives
Students are given the basic tools they need to speak English with confidence – Grammar, Vocabulary and Pronunciation. All three elements are given equal importance in our course and each lesson has clearly stated grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation aims
Target Audience
Adults 18 to 108
Course Duration
The duration of the course is determined by the individual needs and discretion of the students
Course Format
The lessons are conducted via Zoom. Any necessary tests may be carried out at the institute
Prerequisites
Participating in an informal interview conducted at the centre and taking an online placement test to decide on the level, and then completing a Needs Analysis form to determine a suitable course for the candidate.
Educators
Our teachers possess a minimum qualification of a B.A. in English and undergo ongoing training, including programs by the British Council and Cambridge University. The team is carefully selected for high expertise, ensuring excellence. Parents can expect to foster a productive and friendly relationship with their child’s teacher, who keeps them consistently informed and updated.
Method of Assessment
Students are continually assessed through the work they are assigned at home and their progress is measured through quizzes and progress tests (depending on length of course).
Upon completion of the academic year, students will receive a certificate of completion from Together English Language Centre, endorsed by our Academic Director.
